This Thanksgiving make a meaningful impact on the lives of our rescued turkey, Mrs. Gobbles, and her Barnyard Bird friends.
Mrs. Gobbles is one of many barnyard birds who call Glory Bound home, and like most of our rescued animals, she had a rough start in life. Six years ago Mrs. Gobbles was surrendered to Glory Bound when she was just a baby turkey. She was suffering from a bacterial infection in her cheeks. Her tiny face was swollen, she was weak, and we were afraid she wouldn't make it, but she was a fighter! With proper medical care and lots of love she made a full recovery. Now she spends her days getting attention from our volunteers and enjoying the simple life on our farm.
Your monthly sponsorship of $10.00 per month or one-time donation will help provide food, bedding, and healthcare supplies for our flock of peacocks, ducks, chickens and, of course, Mrs. Gobbles.
Adoptable Dog Spotlight
Do you have room in your heart and home for two? Meet Crockett (male Rott/Lab) and Bailey (female Husky/Mix). This odd couple is the best of friends. They arrived at Glory Bound this summer and when introduced they instantly bonded. Crockett was not treated very kindly in his past, he was emaciated, shut down, and scared... but that all changed when he met outgoing Bailey. She has helped him come out of his shell and he is learning to live again! They spend their days playing in the dog yard and dreaming of a forever home together this holiday season.
Both are sweet dogs, housebroken, and fully vetted.
